What does sustainability mean - after all we do our bit to snure we are around the for the long term. Does being ‘sustainable’ attract more guests/visitors? It’s quite an eye opener to learn that many guests look for these credentials though are sinfully unaware of there own home practices. We come in for criticasm, sorry ‘observations’ for some of the slightest issues, but little is understood about how we manage and care for this beautiful landscape we call ‘our’ home.
So what do we do that claims to be sustainable? The key principle about sustainability is to leave the landscape in a way you found it, whether that be footprint or energy consumption- so a key part of our ethos is to do exactly that.
