Nestled in an idyllic setting on the border of Devon and Cornwall in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Old Rectory is near the market town of Tavistock, Morwellham Quay, home of the Edwardian Farm and close to the Dartmoor National Park.
We are a small, family run park with just eleven touring pitches (EHU optional), four private enclosed pitches (Non-EHU), four timber camping pods, space for approximately twenty tents and a two bedroom former Coach House, converted to a stunning holiday let. In addition we have a self-contained Apartment located in the Old Rectory. This tranquil setting is appreciated by all, and is just a stone's throw away from sites of significant historical interest and beauty. Locally there are plenty of outdoor and indoor activities, and many of Devon and Cornwall's major attractions are within easy reach.
For quiet family camping and caravanning holidays, and for those seeking peaceful countryside breaks, the Old Rectory is a wonderful and relaxing location to spend your time. Set in approximately 5 acres, with outstanding views across to Dartmoor, and situated close to the camping area, is our smallholding where you will find our rare breed Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs, ducks, bee-hives, and very free range chickens.
